Courses - general information and prices
We offer expert training with highly qualified instructors on all PADI courses. All confined water training is in our custom-built training pool.
Our course packages include:
- full gear hire (Open Water courses only; for all other courses, hire gear is available at a discount rate)
- boat dives
- air fills
- accommodation at the Dive Centre
- course material (including relevant manuals or online access) and all course fees

DIVE COURSE RATES* Discover Scuba Diving (non-certification, no experience necessary) 1 day $199.00 PADI Open Water** (eLearning course with online theory) † 2 days $595.00 PADI Advanced Open Water 2 days $395.00 PADI Specialty Courses 1-3 days $250.00 - $495.00
* All courses, except for PADI eLearning Open Water course, have minimum numbers required (usually 2-3 people) - one-on-one training is available for an additional fee.
† PADI eLearning Open Water course has a maximum of 3 students per course and no minimum number.
**Please note that, according to Tasmanian Law, a medical examination by a certified doctor is a prerequisite for all PADI Open Water courses. You can download the PADI Medical Form here (Adobe PDF format) and have it filled out by a qualified medical practioner.
