Mick BaronMick Baron

Co-owner of the Eaglehawk Dive Centre. Active diver for over 30 years, Marine Biologist, Assistant Instructor, Coxswain, TDI Gas Blender, Equipment Technician, Oxygen Provider.
Video producer, 20 years experience as underwater video cameraman, video editor, underwater photographer.
20 years experience as scientific observer on national and international vessels operating in sub-Antarctic to tropical waters.

 

Gary Myors

 

Co-owner of the Eaglehawk Dive Centre. Retired from an active role in the dive centre in early 2007. Dive Supervisor, Safety Officer, Location & Logistics Co-ordinator, Coxswain, PADI Dive Master, TDI Gas Blender, Oxygen Provider, Equipment Technician (Oceanic, Apollo & Sea Hornet), part time video camera man, journalist and photographer, active diver since 1967.
Holder of the Australian Sports Medal 2000 for work in safety and instruction in skydiving. Ex-Commercial Diver and Naval Shipwright.


 

 

David PerkinsDavid Perkins

 

Co-owner of the Eaglehawk Dive Centre. His scuba diving experience started in Tasmania and progressed to certification as a PADI Open Water Instructor (#464375) in 2000. In June 2004 David attended an IDC and have gained the certification level of a PADI Staff Instructor He has many additional specialty instructor certifications including deep diver, dry suit diver, Emergency First Response (EFR), nitrox diver and a certified gas blender as well. David has done more than 1000 dives, with most of these being in the temperate waters of southeastern Tasmania.

Karen Gowlett-Holmes

 

Co-owner of the Eaglehawk Dive Centre. Active diver for over 30 years, Marine Biologist working part-time for CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research, Member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (Master of Photography), TDI gas blender, Divemaster, commercial diver, DAN Oxygen Provider.
Recently, Karen was highly commended in the British Gas Wildlife Photographic Competition for her photographic work and was runner up in the biomedical and scientific division of the Australian Photographer of the Year Competition 2000 and 2001.
